Not too long ago, I picked up my first-ever pair of Golden Goose sneakers (which I originally featured in this post), and received a number of questions about them since then. So many that I decided it was finally time to do a full write-up! I’ve also had them long enough that I feel like I have a good grip on their quality, and a number of other aspects about them, which you’ll see broken down further.

Where did you score your pair?
I found mine on sale via Cettire and bought them that way!
I ordered them on the 28th of April and they were at my door by the 30th, so the shipping was lightning fast which was a major plus
How much do they cost?
When I ordered my pair in spring, I paid around $385, but their regular price is around $514.
You can expect to pay between four hundred bucks and $1,700 depending on their uniqueness.
How is the fit?
I’d say they fit true to size, based on my pair.
Since they don’t stretch and they don’t come in half sizes, I’d recommend sizing up.
Are they comfortable?
They required minimal break-in time..
How durable are they?
They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and I’m impressed with the durability. Nothing has torn, and the shape stayed solid. Because they already look worn, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
How are they vs. other brands?
They’re the highest quality sneakers I have. I’ve tried others like Vejas, but Golden Goose still come out on top. There’s a secret wedge inside that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re handmade in small batches, so each pair is one of a kind. And the shine on mine? Stunning.
Would you buy again?
Totally! Just try not to pay full price. They’re not cheap, so getting them discounted is smarter. They’re worth the investment, especially if you get a pair you love. I chose a loud pair, but a low-key version would also be smart.
